A MAN’S BEST FRIEND
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.” – Groucho Marx
So we invite you to go inside, find a good book and read it in good light and be inspired! In today’s world with the availability of electronic books take some time to enjoy the nostalgia of being inside a library. Relish the sights and sounds of quietness that surround you while holding a book of your choice in the library.
Clues: Look for Old Glory. Walk 110 steps toward the City of the Angels. Walk 30 steps toward the Pacific Ocean. Look between lights 2 and 3 on your left for a piece of hard rock (the size upon which you can sit and take a rest). The treasure you seek will be found in a crevice on the south east side with some rocks to guard it. When finished don’t forget to cover it back up. Please re-hide well so that it is not seen or mistaken for trash.
Now that you have found “A Man’s Best Friend,” another letterbox is hiding nearby – “Great Harvest.” You could even walk to it if you retrace your steps and pass Old Glory.
Recording your finds on www.atlasquest.com or www. letterboxing.org . will let us know that this box is alive and well. Thanks and Happy Letterboxing.
