This letterbox is on the Bethel College campus in North Newton, along the Sand Creek walking trail. From Main Street in North Newton, take 29th Street. Follow the road til it becomes gravel. Take the right fork, then the left fork, and park at Memorial Grove near the Plainsman statue.
Start your hike here. Follow the trail straight from the head, past the picnic tables and over the cement drainage culvert. When the trail bends sharply to the left, the creek will be on your right. Take the steps down to the creek. Cross the cement bridge.
On your left, a giant stands guarding the box. His many arms reach into the sky. His 2 big legs go down into the ground. Sneak behind him, but watch out for the snake tongues on the ground. The box is at his foot, covered with some rocks. Please rehide well and let us know the status of the box. Enjoy the trail!
