Bring your own pen, ink and stamp. This is an easy box to get to and find. Perfect for young children and the first time letterboxer.

Clues:
Go to the "Shops at Georgetown’s" Main entrance on Wisconsin Entrance(Corner of M Street and Wisconsin). As you are walking from M Street down Wisconsin you will pass the "Shops at Georgetown" on your right. Before you cross the bridge above the canal, you will see a brick walkway leading to a set of stairs that leads down to the canal. From the street, follow the stone walk about 10 steps towards the stairs. Before you reach the stairs you will see that the stone wall makes a “u” shape. Enter this “u” shape and in the left hand corner you will see a green post that secures the railing. Next to the post, in a crack or gap in the flat stones you will find the bag containing a log book and stamp.

Please remember this is a small letterbox in an urban setting. When you are searching you must use utmost discretion. Be careful no one sees you looking, taking or replacing the box. If there is a chance you will be seen removing the letterbox, please do not – wait it out or come back at a later time. Re-hiding the box as well as you found it and well out of plain sight is critical.

We would love to hear how you did and what you thought.
