This box is planted on the Hill which is Blue in name but you won't feel blue when you are here.
From the parking lot head down the stairs and remember in Acadia National Park, leave no trace and follow all posted signs and rules.
Keep walking right atop the granite until two white "sentry boulders" are spotted.
Standing between the "sentry boulders" with your back towards the sea you should spot a cluster of trees with a protruding rock "bench" about five yards in front of you.
Sitting on the "bench" admiring the water, the box will be hidden at your left arm under the evergreen branch beneath some stones.
This spot is perfect for admiring the setting sun with a bottle of wine and some good cheese.
