This box is located at the San Jose park which features a Velodrome. There is a charge of $6 to drive in. You can walk in if you prefer. Park near the Velodrome. Walk on the bike path, following the signs toward Sylvandale and Yerba Buena. As you pass Sylvandale 's tables, start counting your steps. After 50 you should see a double-trunk cottonwood tree to your right. About 10 steps below the path on your right is a large, multi-trunk tree. There is lots of poison oak in the area, but not immediately around the tree. Make your way carefully behind the tree and reach through the V branches to its lap. Your Broad Brimmed Bonnet is tucked under rocks and leaves.
