There are many places you can go on a scooter in Bermuda. Make sure you visit this one. Built by slave and convict labor, this was a strategic outpost for the Royal Navy more than 200 years ago and was once Britain's largest naval facility outside the United Kingdom. In fact, British war ships set sail from this dock to attack Washington, DC during the War of 1812.
Get off the Dockyard Trolley at the Clock Tower Shopping Mall (note the huge anchors!). Facing the anchors, walk left to the first street you come to. It goes between stone buildings and has a median with a row of palm trees. Walk to the two benches you’ll see at the end, near the little boat yard, and sit on the bench with three legs. Look at the wall behind you. To the right of the cement post holding up the pipe, you’ll see green leaves growing in a crevice in the wall. Look behind the leaves for a camo bag.
