Little Man on the Giant......
This is our first letterbox plant, feedback welome. We started letterboxing to get my son (Little Man) interested in hiking the local trails. He picked this spot himself!
Park at the picnic area. Bring your luch for after the hike to make a day of it. Small fee for parking on the holiday and weekend hours. This hike took us about 2.5 hours (with 2 kids in tow) round trip. We did the Orange trail down.
Walk the Yellow trail from the picnic area (mostly level with some rises). Cross-over the Red hexagon and then the Red triangle trail. Beyond the 550 view go sharp left onto the Western Green/Yellow cross over trail. Cross over the White trail. Now keep your eyes on the East side of the cross over (7-8 blazes in) watch for the large fallen tree at the end of the large flat rock plate. Seek where the tree has fallen from. You will find the "Little Man on the Giant".
For a great leg workout follow the Orange trail back to the picnic area or re-trace your steps back the way you came in.
