The Pinellas Trail is a wonderful bike path that traverses Pinellas Co. from as far north as Tarpon Springs to as far south as 34th St. South in St. Pete. It's safe and scenic, and in addition to riding your bike, you can also walk, skate, ride a scooter, or travel it in any other non-motorized way. It's party of the "Rails to Trails" program which converts old train tracks into pedestrian trails.

The best place to park is in a grassy off-street parking area on the south side 102nd Ave., just east of 119th St., a little further east of Walsingham Park in Seminole. 113th St. is further east of the parking area. A neighborhood called Quail Ridge is right by the parking area.

After you park there, get on the Pinellas Trail heading south. After a short walk, find the Pinellas Trail Mile 12 sign. It's in the middle of the Trail. Then walk about 150 steps south (as measured by a 7-year-oldl), and look for a large grouping of bushes to the right, growing beside the fence. WARNING: These bushes have prickles! The letterbox is hidden behind the bushes at the north end. Good luck and please let me know if you find it.
