Three Leaf has moved to Palmer Park.
Go to the Palmer Park entrance at 3650 Maizeland Rd off N Academy in Colorado Springs.
Pass the dog park and continue up the hill to parking lot 13. Park facing NW as far to the right as possible. Your car should be pointing at a group of trees about 200 feet. This is your destination. The grove of trees sits on the first plateau before the top of the ridge.
Once you exit your car you will see some groves in front of and too the right of the car. Go through them and you should see a smooth rock face to the right. Walk up the rocks. To the left you will see a big tree with a trail going to it. Don't take this trail, go to the right. Continue up the rock face until you get to a grouping of 5 trees. You should be at the plateau. The box is in the middle of the group of 5 trees buried just beneath the surface. When last seen, 4 rocks surrounded the boxes location.
Palmer park is a great place for a picnic. After you find the box, drive up the road to the lookout. The views are fantastic. Picnic tables are available, so don't forget your lunch.
