Stroll all the way through Downtown Sacramento’s K Street pedestrian mall until you come to the Sacramento Convention Center.

Walk across the street and between the rushing waters and fragmented faces toward the front entrance of the Center, but don’t go in.

Hang a right, past “La Familia.”

Then follow the path past the God of the Sea. (His right toes will point the way.)

You’ll meet the Buddha and then a fellow in a yellow suit “Walking the Dogs.”

Curve around the ivy’s edge, and have a seat on the cement square closest to that finely dressed fellow.

Are you on the edge of your seat yet? Good!

Scoot along that edge until you’re facing the closest lamp post then carefully—when no one is watching, and looking before you reach underneath—you’ll find what you seek right beneath you and right behind your feet.
