When a tree falls in a forest and there's no one around
We really don't know if it makes any sound!

From Donalsonville, go south on 39 for about 10 miles. Make a right turn onto Paul Robinson Rd. (the last time I checked, MapQuest has Paul Robinson Rd. as Desser Rd.) After a little more than 3 miles you'll cross River Rd. onto Desser Landing Rd. Continue on down to the landing and park in the lot. Walk the road back up the hill to the gate. Find the sign telling you it's a Lake Seminole Wildlife Management Area, and take the path to the right of the sign. When I was coming out I counted 330 tedious steps, just to give you an idea of how far in you have to walk. You probably don't have to count steps, just keep watch to your left for a dead tree that has fallen and has decayed. It has left behind it a shortened shell of it's trunk, still standing, now serving as shelter for Desser Dreamin'. The letterbox is covered with leaves. Happy Hunting!

It's a nice walking trail if you want to continue on, but I would strongly suggest mosquito repellent, comfortable, sturdy walking shoes and jeans to protect your legs. I would also suggest you not hunt for the box during hunting season!
