We were in town during the SANS Phoenix 2007 conference, Pico found a little grassy area/amphitheater at the back of the strip mall across from the Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa that she really liked. (It's easier to find from the Hilton, but you'll be less obvious if you come from the strip mall.) There was a pile of rocks under the second to last shrub at the end of the east side of the strip mall building on the west side of the amphitheater that looked like it needed a letterbox. We had some carving materials with us, and we managed to make or find most of the other stuff we need to make a box. We left a nice gift for the first finder and hope they'll help us out by labeling the outside of the box for us, cause we couldn't find anything to label it with.
