Go south on Pelican Boulevard from Cape Coral Parkway
Locate Rotary Park.
From the parking lot, go right. You will see a map of the park. Note the location of the Observation Tower. Head towards the paved entrance to the bike path. Go past the fence that prevents vehicles from getting in.
Walk the paved path behind the dog park until you come to the nature trail on the right. There will be a boardwalk behind two big rocks at the entrance. The boardwalk only lasts a few feet, then it's a dirt trail. Follow the trail around past a few picnic areas. At the fork in the open field, go left towards the tower.
Once you get to the tower, climb to the top to observe the birds and wetland preserve. When you get back down, look behind the bottom step under some palm fronds and there you will find him, swingin' from the tower.
