Super Stars of Nintendo: Yoshi
Directions
Follow Rte. 122 south through Millville into Blackstone. Turn right on County Street, following signs to the Gorge.
Terrain: very rocky and steep in some parts, rough running waters. Keep younger children close to you at all times! Older kids with supervision shouldn’t have a problem. Trail is great for dogs, but I wouldn’t let the dogs swim since the current is ruff.
Clues
From the parking lot walk down to the roaring gorge. Check out the view and then look for a trail that is to your left. Continue down this trail staying to the right, pasting by many smaller trails that lead down to the water. The trail will start to curve to the right and you will come to a very small clearing that has a lot of dead branches. Go to the right and stay on this trail. You will then enter another small clearing with a ton of rocks and to your right, spot a huge Hemlock that is fit as a fiddle. (If you come to a clearing with a large down tree you have gone too far.) Walk down behind the tree and see a small less traveled path that is very rocky and steep. Watch your step. After taking a giant step down on the trail spot a cluster of rocks to your left. There is a small hole made between the rocks lying with each other. Move the leaves and sticks out of the way and pull out Yoshi! Please re-hide well. Hope you enjoyed the walk and the views!
