I-75 to S.R. 40 (a.k.a Silver Springs Blvd.)
Go east
Left at NE 25th Avenue
Left at next light, onto NE 3rd Street
Travel 4/10 mile to “Heritage Nature Conservancy” on right
Park in parking lot
It is a good idea to use BUG SPRAY!
Start at trailhead, pass picnic tables, path will make a “Y”, go right, see restrooms on your right, continue on, see sign saying “The Great Take Over” to your right, a few feet ahead is a small bridge,cross, continue, cross another small bridge to the left, continue on trail , pass bamboo on right, turn right, continue to the tree marked with a #5, “Bat House” is now on your left, turn and face “Bat House”, see concrete foundation forward and to your right, walk approximately 23 steps forward, see stone cube on the concrete foundation, letter box is at the base of the cube on the side opposite to the Bat House under some metal debris.
Return to the tree with the #5 and continue, the path makes a loop and will return you to the parking lot.
Go east
