MOOO... Oh no, the farmer's cow has escaped into Sleeping Giant!! We hear he has been spotted heading past the quarry.

Park on Tuttle Street at the Red Hexagon and Red Diamond entrance next to the river.

Follow the main Red Diamond trail past the Red Hexagon trail to your left. Stay on the main trail until you reach a Y intersection. Bear left, staying on the Red Diamond trail. Follow this trail up, past the small explosives shed and large abandoned storage building on the left. Do not enter these ruins - they are unsafe. Follow this trail into the quarry. Make sure to stop and admire the beautiful view.

From the quarry, take path on your right, continuing on the Red Diamond trail over the rock wall. Bear left, following the Red Diamond even as it merges with the Blue trail. Staying on the Red Diamond, you will go down a hill and over a log across the trail. Stop at the next blazed tree on your left. Take 10 steps further along the trail to the large maple tree with its roots on the path. Ten steps to your right off the trail you will see a rock that is split down the middle. Move the loose rocks in between and you will find the missing cow.

Enjoy your hike!

Your Barnyard Pals.
