This letter box has been recovered. new clues coming soon.

This letterbox is hidden at Lincoln Park, 40th St. and 11 Ave. Rock Island, IL. There’s a parking lot across from Alleman High School on 11 Ave.

There are two stages for musical and theatrical performances at Lincoln Park. Go to the stage that is dedicated to Ebenezer Cook Davenport by his sister Naomi L. Davenport.

No need to be on stage to be an artist,
But center stage is where you should be.
Free concerts and plays in the park,
What a lovely thing to see.
Go westward, to be on your way.
Pass by a shelter and a place where children play.
When the path leads right you should follow.
Down six set of steps and you’re okay.
No need to descend on either side.
Meander along the path to a Y,
Go neither left nor right,
For directly in front of you,
The treasure hides out of sight.
