This letterbox is located outside of Bardstown Kentucky in Nelson County. First you need to go to the town square of Bardstown. Don't make yourself crazy going around in circles. At Junction 62 go west. After the second light, get into the left hand lane to get on 31E South. Here is where you magical mystery tour begins

If you have driven for awhile and are beginning to doubt you are on the right path, have faith. It is a long and winding road.

Finally you will see on the left a place that looks like Abe Lincoln's birthplace. If it is his birthplace, you have gone way too far. Right after the buildling you will turn left onto 247.

Help! you will ask. If you have gone three miles you are not there yet; if you have gone four you have missed your destination.

When you arrive, turn left at the flashing light and park in the lot on the left. Avoid temptations. Do not stray from your purpose....to be enlightened on the way. Cross the highway and enter the woods. Follow the signs to find the saints.

Do not speak. Walk softly. Pause to feel the quietness. If you've got troubles this is a good place to forget your worries. Soon you will cross a bridge. You may see a blackbird or a blue jay way in the tops of the trees. Be sure to stay on the path. You will come to a fork in the road, take the road most traveled.

As you walk, notice all the relics here, there, everywhere. Soon you will come upon Lady Madonna. Sit. Relax. Listen. Don't let me down by not stopping here.
Feeling calmer, you continue walking on the trodden path. You may hear or see wild things,: turkey, deer or fox but the tiny chapel calls you closer. Oh! my soul! Go inside and feel the energy. Sit, Write, Pray. Draw. Make your presence known.

As your continue on your journey, it is not much longer.

Suddenly there is a meadow. Lie down and look for Lucy in the sky. Take your time. Turn off your mind. Breathe. Meditate. Let it be. When you feel ready, continue.

Do you want to know a secret? You are very close; just follow the signs. You will walk by sculptures and memorials. Touch them. Linger there. Finally, you will come to a stone cross. It may be decorated with human longing, grief, or joy. Stand still in front of the cross. Look at one o'clock. There's a place where a small circular group of trees grow. Look in the middle of the circle.

Hope you enjoyed this day in a life.

Peace,
Lisa
