*****BOX MISSING***** :o( unfortunately i think it went out to sea...ill let you know if anything changes

This box was created for a temporary location for the 'Frightnight at the Fort' gathering on October 22nd, 2005.

It now has a new home :o)

From Rt 1 turn right onto South Main St.
A mile or so down the road there will be a street named after manly occupation...turn left onto it. (If you go too far you will go into Owls Head.)

After a short drive on _____ street you will come to Snow Marine Park where I spent many years sledding/playing soccer/ climbing on a no longer aquatic bouy...

Drive straight and park somewhere near the boat launch.

At the flagpole left of a small pine tree, stand facing the water. Walk 190 degrees, past the boat launch, to the grass. To your left the grass should end in a small penninsula like shape, surrounded by rocks. Stare at the Harbor and enjoy the scenery for a moment.

From this spot look approximately 210 degrees. The spot you need to walk to is the highest rock in the pile. There should be 8 houses across the water in the background above this rock...if you see the houses, then you are facing the right direction. The highest rock from your position on the grass looks like an upside down V. Walk to it.

BE CAREFUL walking on the rocks!

This formation you are walking towards is what I used to call the Couch Rock...it looks like a couch or a bench with a hump in the middle of the seat. Sit down on the right of the "couch" and look to your right.
3 pink natural splotches mean you are in the right area...reach down..it's under the rocks.

Enjoy! and be careful :o)
Rehide the way you found it!
