These boxes are being pulled due to all the trafic in the area. Sorry.

Carved stamps.
This area is dog and kid friendly.
30 min round trip. Easy walk.
Great views of Denver and the Front Range.

Directions to Daniels Park:
Go south on Quebec through University/Lincoln. Right onto McArthur Ranch. Left onto Grigs Rd. (Grigs turns into a dirt road). Take a moment to look around this area, you will find herds of buffalo in the area. Look to your left for the East-West trail head parking area at 1700 Grigs Rd.
After your letterboxing fun you can drive up to the main parking area by taking a right onto Daniels Park Rd which is just a bit further up Grigs Rd. This is also a great place to hang out and enjoy the view and watch some wildlife. There are plenty of picnic areas too.

Box #1
The trail head will bring you back around to the road. Once you have crossed the road and pass through the gate look for the patch of scrub oak to you left. The box is near the fence on the SW corner of the scrub oak patch. This box is more of a safety tip for this area. Look for the electricity pole with all the big rocks around it. Always look for critters before you reach for any letterbox. I have had a close call with a black widow once because I wasn't paying attention.
Box #2
At the Lone Pine Tree on the left side of the trail you will see some srub oak. Here lies the 2nd box.
Box #3
Stand on the north compass pointer. Do you see the wooden corner fence post approx. 33 paces? The box is hidden at the base of the post.

Happy Hunting!
