Difficulty: A very easy trail especially for children.
It will help if you bring a pencil and paper.
Clues: from the center of Winsted,go west on Rt.44. Turn left at the light just past the Northwest Community Bank on your right, heading towards Highland Lake. This is Lake St. After going up the hill, bear right onto Rt. 263 west, stay on Rt. 263 past Camp delaware on your right. At the intersection, turn left onto Laurel Way and continue straight. At the stop sign go right ( still on Laurel Way) for a short distance. At the intersection park at the gate on your left, this is Platt Hill State Park. Now begin your adventure.
At the first rock and tree wall just after the open field on your left, count 3 rocks in, look in the center of these rocks for the first box of this series. Always stay on the main path as you go around and be sure to read each clue carefully. Please do not remove the clues from any of the boxes, also please be discrete as this is a busy place for picnics and especially during blueberry season. Some local people call this Blueberry Hill.
