Driving directions:
Take Route 4 to clock tower in Sharon, CT. Take right onto Main St./Route 41. Drive along Sharon Green to 4-way stop sign. Turn left onto W. Main St. Drive past New St./Route 361 onto Hospital Hill Rd. Hospital Hill Rd will converge with King Hill Rd and Sharon Station Rd. You will continue to the left onto Sharon Station Rd. crossing Sharon Valley Rd at a 4-way intersection. Ahead take the second entrance into Veterans Park Ball Field and park in grassy lot to right.
Clues:
Locate the memorial plaque dedicated to Fred Amerighi—look directly up the hill and take path into woods.
Bear left at fork, continue up hill past an intriguing fort on left. Continue until you see a wire fence. Keep a look out for the large three sister tree on your left which is before the fence. In the crotch of the tree you will locate the box nestled inside beneath medium sized rocks.
Please re-hide carefully as the fort builders are certain to return.
