The title of this box suggests one of two things: A golf course or Tea. When one is looking for a letterbox in that treasure that is the ultimate greenbelt of a San Francisco Park with a Gate of Gold in its title, it is pretty obvious of which one we speak. Go to the entrance to that place and travel WSW on the sidewalk taking the path at 320 degrees. Enjoy the deep pink hydrangeas which bloom prolifically to your right at this time of year (July). Find a westerly path followed closely by a southwesterly path and proceed up the stairs.

It is your decision which way to turn now to find a tree with the sign pointing the way to the entrance to the point of interest from which you just came but it is a moot point as there are two of these sign /trees so it doesn’t matter. Find them both if you’d like and you’ll realize quickly that on the NE side of only one will it be possible to hide a box two feet from the path under a rock beneath some stemy brush. In your search for the correct one, you might come upon a bench dedicated to someone’s Dad, overlooking a lovely pond and you might want to rest here although your journey has not been far. Or you may wish to us this place to stamp in.

Obviously, this is a highly traveled area (what part of GG Park isn’t on a summer Saturday?) so finding and discretely Rehiding the small box will be a trick but a seasoned letterboxer such as yourself should be able to manage it. Perhaps you will be pretending to photocraph the flora in the area.
