Make your way to the Portland Airline Trail on 82 Middle Haddam Rd in Portland CT.Park in the lot and head through the gate and continue up the hill. In the summer months you'll see butterflies in the garden. Turn to the right towards East Hampton to the 1 mile marker and over the trellis. Keep going until you see the rail storage rack and history information sign.Go up a small path toward a pile of large rocks and look under the first 3 and you will find the letterbox there.
