Gilmore Girls Series, Box #1
Hidden Valley Preserve’s Van Sinderen Trail is located on Route 47 near Washington Depot. Park in the large lot on the right, on the south side of the bridge.
*Be sure to take a picture of the trail map prior to starting out.*
Take the orange trail with the river on your left and you’ll pass a beautiful suspension bridge. Keep following the orange trail which will eventually lead into the yellow trail.
You will come to a point in the trail when the yellow and green trail combine. Take a right onto the yellow/green trail and stay on the yellow trail.
Soon you’ll see signs to the Quartz Mine. Follow this sign and fall into the magic of being surrounded by Quartz. You will soon see quartz paths and hear tiny quartz crunching under your feet.
After checking out the mine, continue on the yellow trail up the hill. At the top of the hill, take a left and immediately on the right you’ll see a hollowed out stump with a sister tree behind it. Inside of this stump is where you’ll find ‘In Omnia Paratus.
Follow the trail back the way you come or continue on the yellow trail to complete the loop.
