This box is located in this nice historic park next to the Old Great Bridge, and was the location of the first Patriot battle site during the Revolutionary War.
Directions:
Going south on Hwy 168 from Norfolk, turn left just before the bridge into the park and go to parking area. Park away from main building, near the "Marsh Trail" at edge of lot (away from Bridge).
To the Letterbox:
Take the Marsh Trail, paved. Turn right on dirt trail that links to "Marsh Trail" sign. Go right and count 27 steps. Go right off trail to a 4-trunk tree about 10 feet away. Box is on back right side in cavity of tree.
