This letterboxing stop has 6 of my hand-carved stamps to find! Visit Four Mile Historic Park during the December Delights event (5pm-9pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December). Clues to find each stamp are on the map of the Park, provided free with your entry fee at the front desk!
Take your time to enjoy the holiday lights, visit our horses, goats, pigs, and chickens, take the kids to the socially distanced craft station in the Bee House, grab a drink at the Summer Kitchen, and try out our outdoor synthetic ice rink between stops on this little letterboxing scavenger hunt.
Hints about what you'll see in each stamp:
1. One of our spotty, snouted friends.
2. A popular form of transportation for folks rushing west for gold.
3. People don't often think of these sweet little bugs as livestock, but they are!
4. There have been humans in Colorado for 14,000 years. This stamp features one type of shelter used in the region before Manifest Destiny changed the west.
5. Another friend from the farm, this time one who scratches for grubs rather than rooting for them.
6. A home at the heart of Denver's history.
