Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Letterbox: 1 mile

You can do individual or multiple boxes as one hike. These were carved for Colorado, but was not able to place, so Memorial Park will be their home. Memorial park is under a lot of construction, and trails are a little strange right now. Hopefully once construction is done these still make sense.

Directions:
From I-610, take the Woodway exit and go east on Woodway. Pass the first light and turn right at the second light. Swing right and park near trailhead on left by end of baseball fields.

To the Letterbox:
Walk to trailhead sign by end of ballfield and edge of small parking area. Walk trail along side of last ballfield. You will pass a purple post to your left about mid field. Pass blue post to right with purple post to left. At trail junction, go right on Purple trail (post). Pass another purple post near island in trail. You will reach a triangle trail junction soon. Go straight on Purple trail until major junction of multiple trails. Take the trail farthest to the right. After going a few steps you will see a Blue trail post to your right. Go 90 steps to white sign on your left and blue pole to the right. Continue on to another Blue pole on the left. Then on to another Blue pole on left at a curve (with view of creek). Continue on for 73 more steps to a large oak tree on left edge of trail. Continue on passing a wooden bridge, and reach a 2nd wood bridge. Continue on, counting 140 steps to an oak tree on right edge of trail. Continue on a ways until junction with Red Trail. Go right on Blue trail and count 80 steps to oak tree on right of trail. Continue past blue post on left to wood bridge. Go on for 45 steps to trail to the left. Continue straight for 4 more steps. Go right off trail to mid sized tree. Box at back base under steps.

Return the way you came, or continue on to next box - Going to the Top.

Hike length: 1 mile
