Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low loved animals. As a young girl, she named one of her favorite animals Fire. Can you guess what kind of animal it was? Follow the directions to find out, and maybe even spot one of these animals on the way!
Directions:
Go to the North Mountain Visitors Center, 12950 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85022
Park in the Southeast corner of the lot. (You may see some special parking for the mystery animal!)
Find the sign for Trail 100 and head East on the trail.
Go through the tunnel.
Once you pass through the chain link gate, you will see a wooden fence on your left. Follow the trail until the wooden fence ends. Carefully (watch for critters) go off trail to look behind the tree near the end of the fence.
