Arrive At Joshua Springs Reserve Park and find a spot near the water to park. You should notice that a long single paved path cuts the creek down the middle and leads off to the hiking trails ahead. Take the path to cross the water, walking towards Ring Mountain.
Crossing the spring, you will turn right onto South Bank Loop. You will stay on this trail for the rest of the short hike.
Pass the signpost that reads .25 miles and continue walking until you reach the place where the trail curves sharply left and runs parallel to the creek.

Continue walking 15 paces off the trial right at the bend until you reach the overhanging rock cliffs above the water. (obviously don't go farther than that!)

Now that you've had a minute to look around and marvel at the sights around you, keep walking along the waters edge atop the rock overhang. Be very careful as you traverse this last step! It's not treacherous by any means, but be sure of your footing as you continue. You will continue along the rock cliffs until you literally cannot go any further (about 45 steps) Upon walking up a small dirt path about 5-6 steps at the end of the overhang section you will see a sheer rock wall that goes up about 4 feet high.

If you look closely you should see a hole/lip at the base of the rock wall, in which I have placed the letter box. Look closely, it is behind some overhanging brush amidst a few rocks of the same size as the container to disguise it.

Make sure you replace as well hidden as you found it! I take a lot of pride in my carves and I've more than a fair share go missing! Please and Thankyou!
