This series is hidden for TALE 17, and the boxes are already in place.
Directions:
From Bastrop, take Hwy 21 past Bastrop SP for about 1 mile, then look for sign and turn left on South Shore Rd. Go a few miles, then turn right into park. Pay fee and get map. Go to parking areas for the Swift Trail.
Take the Swift Trail. At first junction go left on Loblolly trail. When your reach the wooden arch, go under to Loblolly loop signs. Go right on the loop trail.
Box 1 - "One Giant Leap for Mankind" - Count 70 steps. Stop at 3 pine trees off right side of trail. Box is at back base of 3rd tree, with rock on top.
Box 2 - "Lover's Leap" - Go on for 100 steps, just past curve. Go left off trail 6 steps to pine tree. Box at back base under rock.
Box 3 - "Story Leaps Off the Page" - Go on for 110 steps. See two side-by-side pine trees off left side of trail about 5 septs. Go past them to oak tree, 7 more steps. Box at back base under rock.
Box 4 - "Leap of Faith" - Go 165 steps. Locate huge cedar tree off trail on the right about 5 steps. Box is in middle of trunk, under rock.
Box 5 - "Quantum Leap" - Go 250 more steps. Stop at opening on left. Walk into opening for 15 steps. Look left for big oak tree. Circle around to get to back base of tree, box under rock with log book.
Continue on around the loop (another 425 steps - so room for other boxes), then back the way you came.
