Are the "Hairy Women" real? We don't know, that's something everyone needs to decide for themselves!

MYSTERIOUS KILLER BAFFLES POSSE
THAT SCOURS LOCALITY IN SEARCH

Scores of heavily armed men travelling
in groups, are patrolling the
tangled woods about Klipnocky in
a search for a savage and mysterious
animal which has been killing the
poultry of farmers of that vicinity.
They are searching for a creature
said to resemble a baboon, which
moves faster than any animal ever
seen, with monstrous foot prints and
the uncanny strength of being able
to vault haystacks.
No one has seen the strange animal
but these are the conclusions
drawn by residents of the neighborhood
whose flocks have suffered from
the depredations. On what grounds
the description of this terrible animal
is based no one can say, but scores
of fertile imaginations have been
busily at work until the whole countryside
has formed a picture of the
misshapen, powerful creature.
As yet no one has ventured to name
the prowling marauder. Perhaps it
is the famous "hippocamelephantiger "
which has attained no little fictional
renown and may now be seeking notoriety
as a flesh and blood beast.
Yet the fact remains that the chickens,
turkeys, ducks and geese are
dead, their carcasses torn and their
feathers scattered. It is further true
that Game Protector Frank Maloney,
Motorcycle Officer George VanNess
and several others have been scouring
the entire district in a search for the
baboonlike killer. The whole affair
remains a dark, dark mystery.
Arthur Dunn of Haskinsville reported
that he saw a flock of 15 chicken
hawks flying above that section just
a day or two ago. But chicken hawks
kill poultry without leaving monstrous
tracks and vaulting haystacks, and so
it is evident that these birds of prey
were merely making a little excursion
over Klipnocky and did not stop
on business. Perhaps the ruthless
killer frightened them away.

And here...

Start in Canaseraga at the four corners and go down South Church St. After about a mile you will come to a right hand turn, which is County Rd 13C. Turn down County Rd 13C and go all the way to the end of it, about 4 miles. Turn left onto Gas Springs Rd. Follow this road all the way to Klipnocky State Forest, about 2.7 miles. Park next to the large wooden sign that says Klipnocky State forest, and proceed with caution... Hairy Women are about don't ya know! Standing at the sign with your back to the intersection in a NE direction, walk 5 paces to a grouping of fallen branches. There is a large rock on top, the only rock you can see along the edge of the forest. Under it you will find the evidence that the Hairy Women of Klipnocky walk among us!

This is a seasonal limited use road, therefore this box will only be available May-Oct.
