Park at the Shoreline Greenway Trail parking area, located just to the left of the entrance to Hammonasset Beach State Park.
Follow the Shoreline Greenway Trail from the parking lot across the road to where it turns into a gravel path. From there follow the gravel path until you see a set of stone steps leading to a smaller trail off the the right. Climb the steps and continue on the dirt path until you come to a stone wall.
Cross over to the other side of the stone wall and turn to your left. About 10ft down the stone wall there is an opening near the base of the wall. The letterbox is inside. (You don't have to move any rocks to get to it.)
Hike length: 1-2 miles
