Difficulty: easy walk. May be muddy.
Starting at the Gazebo, head left along the water past the pavilion and the snack bar. Follow the water’s edge past the boat stands. From the boat stand area, head up and cross Deep Creek Road. Look both ways! You will encounter a wide gravel trail. Follow this for 50 yards or so until you see the Orange Trail sign. Take the Orange Trail. Not too far up the trail, the Orange Trail turns left. You go straight. When the trail splits again, take the right route. The trail takes some twists and turns. Eventually you will come to a large tree growing out of a large rock next to a skinny tree with an orange blaze.
Look inside the second big tree.
If you have time, go look for our other boxes, The Blue Butterfly, Green Tree Frog, Red Maple and the Little Lady Bug.
