This letterbox was created in honor of my chess-playing brother. The black knight is his favorite chess piece. The box was first planted in White Plains on his birthday, then it travelled to Toronto at the end of the year, to pay tribute to my other brother.

Find yourself in Toronto's beautiful Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If driving, enter through the East entrance off Mount Pleasant Road. Find the parking area outside the visitation center, then go to the North East corner. You should see four columns to the right, and a line of cedar trees to the left, in which the letterbox is hidden. But first, take about 27 steps forward, to A Day Forward. Enjoy its simple beauty. Notice a 27 years-young beloved's grave. Chess master. A dark horse in his day. Now walk back to those cedar trees. From the path, look inside the 8th tree, about 2.5 feet from the ground.

Please take care to re-hide the box as you found it. May your life be long, and filled with good moves..
