This Cline Falls box is a 2nd Edition. New location, new beautiful stamp,( even if I do say so myself!!!) If you had Cline Falls 1, you can get Cline Falls 2 as it is totally new. This box has been placed with thanks to The Fleshmans!!!
DIFFICULTY: Somewhat steep grade for first 30 yards, then easy. Approx. 1/2
mile round trip.
CAUTION: Use caution when near cliffs edge and use caution when reaching in
hole, etc., as this is snake country.
DIRECTIONS: Hwy 97 to Redmond. Hwy 126 WEST towards Sisters ( Highland Rd.)
Follow Road approx 4 miles to Oregon State Park Sign for Cline Falls.
DO NOT ENTER the park, instead just park on the right side of the HWY next
to the guard rail. There is ample parking here to be safe.
CLUES: Follow the guard rail to the East, (back towards Redmond), to the
end. A trail up, a trail down. Choose down. Make your way down to the river
and follow the trail downstream. As you walk you'll start hearing the sound
of rushing water. Follow the sound as it gets louder and louder. Continue
your stroll until you are directly across from a metal staircase. Proceed to
almost the cliffs edge and sit and enjoy the view. A concave rock on the
cliffs edge to your left. A bush and several rocks directly behind you. A
tree with 3 rocks at its base holds the treasure you seek. Enjoy the view!
**Please re-hide well and use discretion. This is a busy area especially
during the summer months.
