GO and Search the Galaxy! - Moon LbNA #61822 (ARCHIVED)

This letterbox - or observation point, as we call them - is part of the 2012 GO and Search the Galaxy! program, and is available from June 1, 2012 - August 19, 2012. This letterbox is located in Apollo County Park. It is 1.06 miles in distance and is rated "moderate" by GO York standards.

 Begin your journey on trail #2. Walk this trail to the top of the hill at the edge of the field.
 Stay on trail #2. The field will be on your left. Do not go onto trail #2A.
 When you reach the end of the field, turn right staying on trail #2.
 You should now be walking through the woods again. The pine forest will be on your right.
 Continue on this trail through the woods until it comes to a T.
 Turn left on trail #2. The observation point will be about five paces on your left side.
 To return to the parking lot, return the way you came.
