This letterbox - or observation point, as we call them - is part of the 2012 GO and Search the Galaxy! program, and is available from June 1, 2012 - August 19, 2012. This letterbox is located in Joseph C. Stump Park (York Township). It is 0.34 miles in distance and is rated "easy" by GO York standards.
This is an easy one for you. Start by parking anywhere in the parking lot.
The observation point will be located along the back side of the trail. You wonder where along the trail … well, you may have to walk the whole trail to find it. That’s part of the fun though!
Here’s a hint: the observation point is located about 30 adult paces to the right of one of the birdboxes.
You may want to make a day of it by bringing your bike and riding around the park or on the Rail Trail nearby.
