The starting point for finding this box is the parking lot of Lions Park in Zionsville. To reach this park, follow 334 west from Michigan Rd. into Zionsville. The park is on your right. Kid and pet friendly. Hand carved stamp.
From the parking lot, follow the path north between two playgrounds, one of which features a lion drinking fountain. Continue north on the path between basketball courts and baseball diamonds to a tree-shaded playground. From the shadowed playground, head east along the path as it curves around the baseball diamonds on your right and turns south along the river. Walk south along the path until you reach a stretch of large rocks. Near teh rocks, you will find two benches and a little riverside trail leading south. Follow this trail to the first large double-trunked tree on your right; it's not far. The letterbox is hidden on the eastern side base of these trees, covered with bark.
