Frear Park, Troy NY.
Rte 7 to Troy. North on Fifteenth Street. At the end of Fifteenth street you will run into a traffic circle. you can park on Fifteenth just before the circle. There is no parking on the circle or grass. On the North side of the circle is the Frear Monument, a large pillared building with a flagpole in front. Walk to the monument building. To the right is a pond. Look for an old set of stairs that lead down to the pond. At the bottom of the stairs turn right on a dirt path. Pond should be on your left. On your right you will soon see an old tree stump. The Frear Monument letterbox is inside the stump under some rocks. When found please place it back EXACTLY as found.
