Life is but a Dream Park
Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, life is but a dream.
The Madison area is home to many fabulous dream parks. The name of this one has an invented Winnebago name and is located in the charming city of Monona.
Box #1 – Park near the aquatic park, tennis courts.
Walk past some several metal smiles – they may be occupied will “rollers.” Continue walking straight away passing a grove of trees on your left.
Go over the green rainbow to teeter your totter. Continue up and through the mouse hole tunnels and down 2 ramps.
While sitting at bottom of the ramp, pointing your compass in front of you, there is a large 4-fingered hand to your west. Walk to it and place yourself on the opposite side of it. Take 36 more paces west, and your ore lies in the base.
Box #2 – This continues from Box #1. With Box #1’s hiding place at your back, go between two bookends, and head out onto the trail that leads into the woods. Keep left on the trail in a horseshoe pattern nearing the stream. An open-mouthed tree stands guard over the stream. Check its tonsils for your prize.
Continue following the stream to return to where you started.
Box #3 – This lovely park has a beautiful shelter for picnicking, which is located right next to the Dream Park playground. Go there. From the shelter area, walk to the stream and follow it’s meander through the park. Enjoy the geese, but don’t get too close! Watch for droppings!
Along the shores of (not Plum) Creek, you will espy an imposing whomping willow like the kind found in Harry Potter. A high ledge hides your prize. Employ a stick to snare the handle of the box and retrieve the goods.
Box #3 – This lovely park has a beautiful shelter for picnicking, which is located right next to the Dream Park playground. Go there. From the shelter area, walk to the stream and follow it’s meander through the park. Enjoy the geese, but don’t get too close! Watch for droppings!
Along the shores of (not Plum) Creek, you will espy an imposing whomping willow like the kind found in Harry Potter. A high ledge hides your prize. Employ a stick to snare the handle of the box and retrieve the goods.
