**7/25/10 We checked on this box today and It is indeed missing 8-( Not sure yet if it will be replaced...**
~I figured I would increase the Connecticut Welcome Center letterboxes by adding this one.
There is no ink in the box, but any solid color will do just fine.
If you find yourself traveling on I-95 Northbound between exits 65 & 66, then pull into the Welcome Center that is between them.
The building is only open from Thursday to Sunday and closes quite early, but there is a covered area to sit at, outside potties if needed and a small place to walk your dog(s). Make sure they are on a leash though!!
After parking, make your way to the canine area. Go around the large, light colored rock and stay along the line of bushes on the left. When you come to the first Cedar tree, go around back and look under a brick, leaves and sticks.
