Pretty Pony had to trot to a new location after a good run at the Clark waterfall on Madison Hill road. Find the Pretty Pony letterbox by following the new directions.
Drive, ride bike or walk. Dogs and kids welcome and may help find the box easier.
The Rahway River runs downstream through Linden and Clark into Rahway. Union County Pkwy runs along the river connecting Valley Road in Clark and Centennial/Stiles in Linden. On the river side of the road there is a large parking area in walking distance from the waterfall at Valley Road. Park here if you drove. Walk away from the parking lot towards the river and the waterfall. Look around at the waterfowl. Do you see geese? How could you not, this is nj. How about swans...ducks...egret...snake bird. There are lots to see. Did you notice a weathered and rotten base of a tree. (It has no top). The Pretty Pony letterbox is hidden behind the tree, under pieces of the tree. Please be secretive when looking and recording. This is a popular place. Rehide well. Make sure every bag and all is shut tight. Record your find at letterboxing.org. Have a great day.
