Enter the Town of Phoenica from Route 28 at the Eagle. Travel down Main Street, past Route 214 and Church Street (both on the left). Make a left onto Ava Maria Drive. Just past the post office (on the right) there is a drive and small parking area for the town park. Park here and enter the park through the chained barrier.

Clues - Travel 120 degrees to center court.
Travel 40 degrees until you hit a small stream bed.
Follow the stream bed North until you find the Tanbark.
Cross the wooden footbridge and follow the path a short way up. The trail goes between two huge boulders, but before you
get that far. stop and look to the right and you will see the
remnants of an old stone wall. The letterbox is here.
Be careful when moving the stones aside.

**Please, please be careful when doing this search. Though the letterbox is hidden at the very beginning of the Tanbark Trail, it is very steep and slippery.
