Sturgis is home to one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the United States. Drive through downtown Sturgis to the intersection of Lazelle St. and Junction Ave.
1. Drive east on Lazelle St (East Highway 34)
2. Look for the Lions Park turn on the right side. Drive into the park
3. Park at the picnic shelter.
4. Walk inside the shelter and locate where the American flag is across the highway.
5. Find the single leaning Russian Olive tree. Walk down and stand next to the side of the tree away from the lean.
6. Line up with the American flag across the street.
7. Walk downhill 40 steps to the Oak tree with two trunks.
8. The letterbox you seek is hidden between the two trunks.
Please make sure the letterbox is sealed tight before rehiding to keep out water. I am not from the area so if maintenance is needed, your help is appreciated. Thanks
