Every Thursday night in the summer, the Ames Municipal Band performs in Bandshell Park, on Duff Ave., just north of Main St. The concerts start at 8pm, usually with pre-concert entertainment beginning at 7pm. Take along some lawnchairs and take in an enjoyable evening of entertainment. And don't forget to find the "Music in Bandshell Park" letterbox!

Clues:
• Pick a parking spot in the off-street parking at the north end of Bandshell Park.
• Locate the flower garden planted by Linda Hintch and adopted by Martha Steenhoek. Read the plaque describing the Ames Circle of Art.
• Continue along the sidewalk where the three red benches reside.
• Take a rest on the bench reminiscent of the music of Christmas.
• Look toward a twisted trunk with the best seat in the house in its bent branch.
• In the crook of its trunk, you will find the letterbox.
• Now enjoy your evening of "Music In Bandshell Park"!
