-Manor Townshp Community Park-

This park is a great place to go in late spring and early summer because the large wooded area in the park is always full of wildlife. This park is also great for children, as it has two small play areas and a shorter walking trail. There are two basketball courts, a baseball field, three gazebos and plenty of benches. The park also contains restroom facilities.

Enter the park at the Millersville Road entrance. Follow the first path you see unitl it comes to a fork. Follow the path to the right, and continue walking until you come to the baseball field. Go to the bench on the right side. The bench points in the same direction as the foul line. Continue walking in the direction of the bench unitl it seems that you have reached the boundaries of the park. If you look to yourright you will see a small path. Follow the path until you come to a large tree that forms a "Y." Using the stick provided*, claim your prize from the base of the tree.

*In the summer there is a chance that stinging nettles will grow around the tree. stinging nettles will, as their name implies, sting whatever part of your body that they touch. Their sting may produce a small rash in some people around the affected spot. I had no problem planting the box, but I know the park well and think that this disclaimer would be appropriate. If you use the branch that I left at the base of the tree to get the box out, there should be no problem.
