The little frog followed the long trail down the hill. He stopped when he came to a stone wall. There were so many pools! What a great place to be a frog. He hopped a little bit to the left & decided to investigate a rocky pit beside a large tree. Sure enough, one of his relatives was living there. After visiting for a bit, he turned around and headed for the stream, crossing a wooden bridge and following the current. He passed by several more relatives; they all seemed pleased to see him except for one very large fellow on the opposite bank who ignored him completely.... but the little frog didn't let that bother him. He continued in the same direction until he reached a paved path, which he followed to the other side of the stream. At the intersection, he steered away from the building with its warning sign, choosing a dirt path parallel to the stream, and eventually scrambling up the bank so he could get a better view.
At last, rather tired, he came to the last pond. It looked peaceful and welcoming. On the other side of the fence he could see an enormous pond...but he decided that since he wasn't good at video games, he shouldn't try to reach it. Instead he hopped behind the large fallen log to the right. He would have a rest....and later a nice swim!
(Note: depending on the season, you may not see many of the frog's relatives, although you will certainly be ignored by the large one!)
