(NOTE: REPORTED MISSING BY 2 DIFFERENT BOXERS AS OF 9/16/08)

Difficulty: Drive by, near the highway
Time: ~ (approx.) 10 minutes walking and stamping. Please bring your stamp, a stamp pad, compass, pen and an old rag to wipe off the pouch/your hands.

POINT OF BEGINNING. Sounds kind of mysterious doesn't it? I hope you are not let down when you find it. It is an interesting place with lots of historical significance and the Mountaineer gaming resort is located not far away in Newell, WV. Ok, here we go. From East Liverpool head easterly on Rt. 39 and when you hit the Pennsylvania border you just past the
POINT OF BEGINNING!!!. Go back and pull off by the marker and read it over. Then read the Ohio State Historical marker and then the other Ohio Marker discussing the Seven Ranges. Continue westerly 44 steps from this last marker to the double trunked tree on the tree line. The letterpouch is at the base of this tree in the split of the fork. I hope the briars are not bad enough to keep you away....I made it in. Unobserved, retrieve the pouch and maybe your car would be best for stamping. After stamping, please place the log book in one baggie and seal it well, then place that baggie and the stamp in the other baggie and seal it well and hopefully, if both baggies are not punctured, the log will stay dry. Place these items back in the pouch and then unobserved, replace the pouch back where you found it, at the base of that tree, well hidden. If you don't mind, I would appreciate it if you would drop me a line telling me the condition of the letterbox and any constructive comments you might have. Thank you in advance and I hope you enjoyed your short hunt, Safari Man
