Great Seal Hitch Hiker Hostel.
5/8/2006 **Box has been restocked for the warm season, contains 3 hikers.**
Location: Great Seal State Park.
Difficulty: Medium
Distance: About 1/4 trail miles one way if map legends are accurate.

When the Vista shelter horse area gate is closed for the season, use the trail head from Ireland picnic shelter, walk up the hill along the disk golf course, you will have a sign pointing to the camp / picnic area and follow this trail around the hill to the left.

Clues:

Take the left yellow loop from the sign and start watching the small intervals between the little hills and ditches. 30 paces, 25 paces, 17 paces and finally 60 paces to where a railroad tie fence post stands a couple steps from the trail on the left.

***Update*** Due to an ant hill being created at the base of the hiding spot at the end of the log, I have moved the box to inside of a hollow tree located behind the upright R.R. tie that i mention in the old clues.***

**Old clues**Almost directly North from the top of this post you can follow a line of sight along a log to a large rotted stump 25 paces hence, walk past the pile of R.R. ties on the ground on to the stump and downed tree.

The Hostel is located under the end of the log beside the parent stump under bark, leaves and a concrete cover I packed over the top of Sugarloaf mountain.

Replace as found or better and please observe the Hostel rules obtained from other postings.

Hostel rules as obtained from other clues are:

You may visit and stamp in at any time just like a regular box however:

*You may only take a Hitch Hiker if you leave a Hitch Hiker.

*You may obtain a stamp or stamp into each Hiker at any time.

*Observe the individual rules (if any) that are in each H.H. logbook.

*Be polite and inform the owners where their H. H. creations were last spotted. We folks like to know where our little friends were found.

*Remember the three way stamp in method. Stamp the Hostel Log, the H. H. log and your own log.

Always re-lock the lid and re-place the box as found or better and cover your tracks. This may be a fall hunting area and there could be lots of nosy folks wandering around.
